Identification: Oval shape, both eyes on the right side of body, color varies with black and white present

Reproduction: Multiple spawning sessions within a spawning season

Behavior: Prefer waters cooler than 13℃ and will leave if too warm

Predators: Larger fish, seabirds, seals, sea lions, dolphins, porpoises, and squids
